We offer free site migration with every sign up.
- What does the site Migration include?
- We will move your Cpanel account and data to us.
- Depending on the platform you are using (Plesk, Cpanel, etc could take a bit longer as the data will have to be manually moved over.
- Make sure you include your old host information:
- ( User login, Hostname, IP address/Domain
- Domains you want transferred
- Databases,
- Emails etc.)
Due to platform differences, and amount of data needing to be transferred, We can not guarantee that all data will be intact. We will inform you during the migration process if we run into any issues (Usually it runs smoothly)
If the size of storage is too big for the migration we will inform you and you can either
A: reduce the amount being transferred
B: Upgrade to a higher package to handle the storage compacity
**If the data is too big for the transfer, timesout etc the resources will have to be sent in smaller chunks to transfer properly, as transferring data between servers does heavly overload the servers running.
EX ( Transferring : 15GB+ to server could require it to be broken into 3GB at a time or less making it longer wait time to be migrated.. hence (24-48 hr) window is reqired to be completed. (Some cases it could take longer depening on the other hosting providers) Unfortunantly we have no control over this.
Same also applies to Domain propagation, Most common is also 24-48 hours to propagate to the new server and Name Servers, If correct information is inputted then it should go with very little issues.
If some incorrect NS information is configured then their could impose some delays.
Alternatively, we can instruct you how to move your own data if you choose that route.
Just submit a support ticket requesting your site to be moved from another host. Our Technical Support Team will get started on it.
Make sure you are as descriptive as possible as some data may not be moved if we are able to do so. We will do our best to ensure your data is safe and secure during the process.
